Ministries
Ministry is one of the most important ways that members of Saint Boniface participate in the liturgical life of the community. These ministries include:
- Hospitality Ministers - Greet worshipers at the door of the church and assist with many of the practical tasks of creating a welcoming atmosphere in the church.
- Lay Readers and Cantors - In the sanctuary lay Readers proclaim the lessons from the Old and New Testaments during the Liturgy of the Word and the parish Cantors lead the assembly in song.
- Eucharistic Ministers - Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, or Eucharistic Ministers, are delegated by the priest celebrant to help with the distribution of the Sacrament.
- Cross and Candle Bearers - Youth members of our community, these young men and women dignify liturgical celebrations by leading processions.
- Ministers of the Ceremony - Supervise the flow and co-ordination of the rites and act in close collaboration with the priest celebrant.
