Oratorians in Residence

Father Dennis Corrado, c.o.

Co-founder of the Oratory Church of Saint Boniface and Provost, Fr. Dennis was born and raised in New York City. Ordained in 1970 and trained in communications and theology; he worked for twelve years at St. James Cathedral before coming to St. Boniface in 1990.

Brother James Simon, c.o.

From Pennsylvania, and member of the Brooklyn Oratory since 1990, Brother James is the Director of Development at St. Joseph's High School, Brooklyn.

Father Mark Lane, c.o.

Fr. Mark was ordained in 1983 and obtained a Pontifical License in Sacred Theology in 1994. He served as a parochial vicar in Sydney, Australia, before joining the Brooklyn Oratory in 1990. He served as parochial vicar at St. Boniface from 1991-2001 and then as pastor from 2001- 2011. Father Mark is a preacher for the Christian Foundation for Children and Aging and the Executive Director of The Friends of Turkana. He continues to minister in our parish by celebrating Mass and remaining an active presence.

Father Joel Warden, c.o.

Administrator of the Oratory Church of St. Boniface, Fr. Joel is originally from Buffalo, NY, and he joined the Oratory as a novice and resident in the Fall of 1993. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1999 at St Boniface after completing his seminary studies at Oxford University, England. Father Joel holds a degree in Organ Performance, and is completing a PH. D. in Moral Theology at Fordham University.

Father Anthony Andreassi, c.o.

Parochial Vicar. Born in Yonkers, Fr. Anthony did his undergraduate studies at The Catholic University of America and trained for the priesthood at St. Joseph's Seminary, Dunwoodie. He later earned a doctorate in history at Georgetown University with a concentration in American Catholicism. He joined the Oratory in 2004. In addition to his work in the parish, he also teaches part-time at Regis High School and is chair of the Board of Directors of Queen of the Rosary Catholic Academy. In recent years, Father Anthony also contributed articles and reviews to Commonweal and America magazines.

Father Michael Callaghan, c.o.

Born in Passaic, N.J., Fr. Callaghan completed his undergraduate studies at Loyola College, Baltimore, and studied theology at Catholic University of America and St. Mary's Seminary and University in Baltimore. Ordained to the priesthood in 1990, he joined the Oratory in 2005 and currently works as Executive Director of Nazareth Housing.
